If my NI wiring is going to go through a Div 1 Area, do I have to treat this as if it were any other wiring that requires 501.10(A) requirements? In other words, my assumption is that since NI is not permitted in Div. 1 Area that the cable has to be treated like any other non-Intrinsically Safe wiring.

The conductors themselves are probably OK, but you will need to use threaded raceways in the Division 1 location [501.10(A)(1)(a)] and to observe boundary seal requirements [501.15(A)(4)].
