Not always the high current

Working with a grounded delta system again with a well motor that would run for a week and trip the overloads. Then maybe overnight for a few days. Older CH starter that has the option for current imbalance. Did the lead rotation with no good resolution of current imbalance. Current was always at or just below FLA with the exception of L3 which was lower. L3 connections were burnt up in the meter socket. Voltage imbalance was always good while we were there.
