Not Quite Texas but Still Bad

Ours is 15’ on each side. Had a pine past my house leaning and about to fall, called the poco, told them the could cut it now before it fell and broke the line, or fix the line after it fell. They would not come out because it wasn’t on my property.
Same here very little preemptive work to prevent damage and failure. Have one across the street that all they'll do is trim some branches away when they start arcing during a rain storm, then they just grow back. Have had some great light shows from it.
 
Some places like Savannah, Beaufort, (historic towns) etc only allow 5’ ROW

Just like the wooded areas here, if they won't let the trees be trimmed, they don't need the power, and after it's been permanently shut off, they will figure out a way to fix it. Cold way to think about it, but some people need a swift kick in the keister.
