Brant I'm not even sure a complaint could be filed with the board. He did get a permit for the work. He did get the power turned on ( temp power) and it's still on. The permit is still open but he hasn't gotten a final.

sorry, i didn't mean that specifically for your situation.

i was answering a comment someone made about having his license pulled, and my comment was simply a generalization of the process in GA.

It's not a worry it's a requirement. There can only be one permit issued for a given job at a given time. It could get very confusing if they started to issue permits to different contractors at the same time to do the same work.

What if there were multiple electrical contractors doing work on one site? I'm unsure if WA has a one permit per site rule.

If the structural integrity of the house has been compromised then the homeowner needs to get a lawyer asap. Every day he waits means it's that much closer to the statute of limitations to run out.

If you do work on a house that you know to be structurally deficient, then you can be held liable as well.
