Please point out issues and let me know if this is right. I'm still learning.

A recessed light is located within three feet of an opening in a class 1 division 2 location. A seal off is installed within 18" of the fixture. From the seal off liquidtight is ran to a four square located outside the classified area. Is a seal off required at the end of the liquidtight before the four inch square?

Reccesed but back side of fixture is within three feet of booth opening.

I apologize for my confusion, but if I understand your description correctly, the existing seal mentioned is acting a boundary seal; being within 18" of the luminaire is irrelevant and a seal at the four in square box is useless in any case.
