Note 2

Can we get more input on the below link. Personally, I believe the wording (highlighted) in note two of T.220.55 seems confusing! Maybe I'm over thinking this, but it says what it says! Maybe someone can bring more light to the topic.

Thanks!

what is your concern?
with note 2 you find the sum of the name plate kW using 12k as a minimum devide by the number of ranges and and use col C for the number of ranges and increase that value by 55 per 1000 or major fraction of .

10kW + 15kW + 22kW= 12+15+22 = 49k/3=16.3 k three ranges col C = 14 k increase by 10%

That's what I figured! So I was right initially.

So if:
Ranges--10kw and 9kw then: 12Kw+12kw=24/2=12--no need to increase.

This is one of the more difficult tables to deal with if you are working with the notes. In the example you give I would go to Col C and select 11k. in most tests and most applications you are looking for a minimum feeder demand. you can size the feeders larger if you wish.

Wouldn't your increase be .20.

That's making it too easy :D

There should be an icon box to your right. Select your smilie, and it will automatically paste--based on where your cursor is.

If you don't have a smilie box, then you may want to go to your profile page, and see if it's active. <<<Not sure on this one.
