I received this alert for persons that may have to work in Hurricane affected areas. It is primarily geared towards hurricane damage but can also be helpful for anywhere that might have suffered flooding or water damage.

I can't begin to tell you how many times we go into an area that has been flooded and restore power to entire neighborhoods. I have had to put padmount XF's back on pads that have floated off, then energized them.
people in those areas just want their power back on, most never bother with an inspection because it isn't required.
They get upset when we have to pull the meter for the firemen, then try to blame us...
Salt water foooding does the most damage that I can see. We didn't have to go to Isacc, luckily.
