I've been using FireX for years with minimal problems. I replace all brands that have problems with them. It's not the brand. I think th3t are equal.Bingo!!! There's your problem. Had that 3:00AM issue several years ago and ended up replacing them all with a different mfr.
I don't see It! I use the all the time!Truth is it can happen with any brand, but FireX seems to have it by 15x the amount.
I believe it was BRK but it was so long ago that I don't remember. The only thing I know for sure is that I will no longer use FirexWhich manufacturer did you go with?
How many different manufacturers are there anyway??
The thing I remember most of all was the 3:00AM false alarms. It would be a different story and a different issue if it happened at other times.Truth is it can happen with any brand, but FireX seems to have it by 15x the amount.

If you put the batteries in at 2:00 in the morning, they will die at 2:00 in the afternoon. The problem is you are putting them in at 2 in the afternoon! Can I be honest? Most of my alarms were also during the night. No idea why, best guess was insects getting inside from the LED indicators.
