number of metering points

we have an existing company that has two metering point (building 1 and 2) They are in one compound. We are planning to have a one metering point for the two buildings. What does standard say about this case? is it allowed to have one metering point for two buildings. These are connected only of a roof.

This is not an NEC issue. Check with your local power company for metering questions.

As long as they are on the same property thier should be no problem. What size main ?
