Unless you know the circuit will be loaded more than 16 amps for more than 179 min 59 sec at a time, it is not necessary to calculate for continous duty.
See 220.3(B)(9) for how many receptacles on a circuit.
Better check your local rules. Parma, Ohio only allows 10 outlets of any kind on a 20 amp circuit. If all of the outlets are LED exit signs then tough. They also ban 15 amp wiring.
For that matter, not using 15 amp wiring simplifies my situation anyways. Only need to remember 1 set of box fills, 1 set of Sctchlok(R) fills, less fragmentation of inventory.
