How much weight can an ordinary metal octagon box handle with 8/32 screws? Is it 50 pounds, any idea?

Then what has the 35 lb. rating? Something somewhere can only support 35 pounds... Maybe pancake boxes? I know for sure I've seen it. I'll have to dig around.
