Isn't this just 230.2?

I guess you could argue that the home would be supplied by 1 service and 1 feeder.

Right, I didn't frame that question well. Clearly you can't have two services "directly " feeding a building (unless an exception applies). What I meant was there isn't a specific prohibition against a feeder and a service serving a building -unless you apply 230.2 to that feeder.

I think you have to apply that- somewhere up the line, there's a service supplying that feeder. (Also effectively hits 230.3 even though the words don't say it.) When it come down to it, I can't see the PoCo or an inspector allowing that sort of scheme (could still happen somewhere).
