A GC our business has worked with since the 1970's, has a carrier standby at their house. I am looking for a 200A whole house transfer switch to replace his 12 circuit switch. I know it is really a rebranded generac but generac won't help because of liability. So is there an expert around that may be able to direct in finding a old working switch or a new compatible one?

Seems like Carrier was Black and Decker, which I think was bought out by Generac? Anyway, you have to start with how the existing is controlled. If the generator controls it, I think Northern Tool sells the 200 amp Generac switch, if the transfer switch controls the generator (two wire start) a Kohler or ASCO switch will work. Three wire start is usually Onan,

For me, just a picture of most of the innards of the transfer switch would probably identify what it really is. Because Carrier did not make it themselves. The nameplate might help also.
