Sorority house ? Hey Marc Ill work for free im only a few hours away and I rarly wear blue jeans to work only on roughs. I promise to work too....

I got a job a while back because the electrician who showed up before me was wearing a T-shirt. I buy button down shirts at a local thrift shop. If they get ruined on the job I don't care because they only cost a quarter anyways. You don't have to spend a lot of money to look like a professional. :smile:

As long as someones rear end is not hanging out of the pants I am not going to complain.

I can't stand either, although the old school comment to plumbers butt is , "got a quarter ?" ( coin slot ) I have a hard time believing that anyone who can't dress them self if going to do a good job.
 
I have some old pics of my grandfathers trucks from the 40's (Wes Childress Christmas Trees) and I've spent many a day in the area where he lived trying to find one of these old trucks as a surprise for my dad.

I've gotten a lot of, "I think old so and so has one", but have never actually located one, but I have met a bunch of really nice people and heard some great stories about my family.
 
OK I'll comment on the clothes.
A few years ago I started wearing suspenders and nice Carhart button tees. I have a lot of stuff in work jeans-volt stick, ten in one, cell phone, pager keys and the suspenders are perfect. I gave up on a tool belt.
I almost always wear a hat, but a fedora gets too many Indiana Jones comments. It drizzles a lot here a lot and a ball cap is a must.
