Re: Old Power Plant

Allen, I'm sorry, I didn't mean for you to have to keep watching a thread for my reply.

BTW, after reading a few threads before posting this, it is almost every other post that you mention 2500 homes, so I'm sure you can understand why I related the romex.

Re: Old Power Plant

No problem brother,When I moved here the $$$$ was in residential so that was where I went.Pieced worked 80`s and made great money. When i was in NYC I did industrial, commercial until I moved here at the time I was able to make doing romex piece around $1000.00/ week in 1981 While the industrial guys were getting around $10.00/ hr.So this is where I stayed.believe me I have done a few of those pipe racks we take pride in doing,Flowing 90`s with all kicks the same as they span out.i do appreciate the power plant but have gone sour as i see there is allot less pride in what is out there.I still look at jobs and see a rack with couplings all spread out.I worked for this little italian guy that would make you rip 100`s of feet of pipe down if he thought it looked bad all couplings in line all kicks the same saddle sets perfect :D
