I have a customer that wants to install the old style push-button switches from 1908.
The qustion I have is how do you ground these switches and are they legal to install according to todays codes.
I have talked the customer into installing standard switches in the bathrooms because I know that I can at least ground these devices.

Any input would be gratefully appreciated.

I know there are companies that make copies of the old double push button swithches, you might do a search here online for retro switches or a reproduction switches, im sure they would have ground terminals on them....

I knew Marc had posted an answer on these switches before, so I searched for "push button" with userid mdshunk. By the time I'd posted the link, which takes only a minute or so, I'd been beaten by two other posters, one of whom was... Marc.

I have a theory that every possible question that could be asked has already been asked and answered (or beaten to death and back, in some cases), and its just a question of doing a quick search to reveal the wisdom...
