We have a new Washigton state code rule that deals with identification of the demark, its very long, about two pages and has language such as MPOP, and so on. The FCC only allows the phone cable to extend 12" into the building past the end of entrance. The rule is for the building owner and POCO to label the demark. The intent is so the AHJ knows where to apply the NEC
