optional calc; 220-84

Hi,
I am calculating the existing service of 32-unit apartment
using optional calc 220-84
do I have to allow (32) x 8000VA for range and not used

or I am allowed to demand factor it per 220-55 ; 32 x 8000VA x 22%
?????

In optional calcs you must use the nameplate rating. If the cooking is gas then you would have to use 8kw for each range to be able to use 220.84
