when using optional method do we consider the factor 1.25 for continous loads

Article 220 calcs, optional or regular method, do not call for continuous loads to have the 1.25 factor.

The 1.25 factor for continuous loads comes into play when sizing the conductors and OCPD.

A tad confusing I know, but that is the way the NEC is set up.
