Optional Multi Family

On the Washington Electrical Administrator Major Calculations portion, one of the Multi Family questions is a Duplex. It instructs you to use the Optional Method. Table 220.84 is for three or more. Is not a duplex, two units? How can this question be answered?

220.82 is for Dwelling UNIT. Not Units.

OK, so I believe the answer is, the code defines a duplex as a single unit.
