Hi all:

I'm purchasing a home that the seller/builder renovated. He recently installed the permanent electrical service from the pole and we are not happy with the placement of the service drop. The mast goes up the front of the house and extends over the roof. The house is a split level, so it's not that tall. My understanding is that code required the electric line to be a minimum of 12' over the walkway and the weatherhead has to be at least 13' over the walkway. Curious to know what our options are. Would it be possible to bend the mast and have it extend up closer to the chimney? Here's a link to a photo , appreciate your thoughts.
