Outdoor feeder taps

From my research on the web (code book is out in my truck)

An outdoor feeder tap say what I’m needing to do is come off of a 200amp meter main with feed thru lugs with 100amp conductors into a MLO panel directly next to it all of the such located outdoors.

I believe it would have to terminate into a single OCPD device breaker/fuses or is there any exception that allows this?

What was the section in 2017? Something to do with the sum of the breakers not exceeding the tap conductor ampacity ?

Disregard, that was only for panels used as service equipment 408.36

Note you would need a 200A panel or a main breaker due to 408.36
