Outdoor hot tub / All plastic

Equipotential Bonding number 8 solid around tub and back to pump location in mech room inside house. No metal to attach too. All equipment is located in house and I was wondering if I can go around tub and this would be all ?

It seems like the sensible answer would be to run the #8 around it. However you might need to point out to an inspector that there is no metal to attach to.

I dont think you need a GEC for a plastic hot tub, only an EGC. Is it above grade or below. That could make the diference.
