Yesterday I saw on the prints that a track light we are to install is tied into a circuit with a couple of receps. I called my boss to tell him that we need to send an RFI to the engineer about this. My boss said that he didn't think there was anything in the NEC about this but I could have sworn I saw that article before, mainly so that the lights won't dim when a load is applied at the outlets. Well I can't find the code article Am I wrong ?

I hate to tell someone who is packing a glock that they are wrong so I will say that you are mistaken.

Certain receptacles, kitchen , dining, etc cannot be wired to the lighting circuit but in general it is fine.

Thanks I guess I have always practiced not doing it for so long that I just believed I had read it. And as far as the name Im just an avid gun guy I visit a few gun forums and already have my e-mails under that handle. This is a great forum its self I tend to lurk alot. good reading

Isn't amazing? That's such a precision weapon, every shell ejects exactly the same and every puff of smoke is identical.

And just like in the movies...... you never run out of ammo! :D
