Ok so when EMT is terminated at a box either a ss or comp connector is used. When using RGS in know there is a coupling to the end so I'm thinking are boxes with hubs used for receptacles and switches or is there a similar connector that is used with a 4" box? How is RGS terminated at these boxes. Thanks

I need to hit the lottery....

Of you can do like the leaf raker whose job I saw at a house. Just run your conduit 1/4 inch into the KO and stop there. If you don't have conduit, use a piece of water line.:D

I've been known to use a chase nipple into that coupling. Not the cheapest way, but it does get some of the clutter out of the box.

Otherwise, opposing locknuts and a bushing are used.

If you have smaller than #4 conductors you could use a metallic bushing on the inside and a locknut on the outside. Saves a little space in the box too.
