I have a 200amp single phase service with a 200amp breaker inside as service disconnect. installing 200amp service rated transfer switch on outside
next to meter socket. From transfer switch changing to ser. Can i leave the original 200amp disconnect in line with separate ground and neutral. Re-
grounding to new 200amp transfer switch.

Your existing disconnect can stay. Everything down-stream from your service rated TS needs to have the neutrals & grounds separated.
