What is the hazardous classification of a paint spraying area according to the nec??
The training is required to deal such condition for employees.Spraying of flammable liquids is conducted in a number of industries such as vehicle refinishing and furniture manufacture. Many employees at these workplaces are not fully aware of the potential risks to the health and safety of such hazards. The major hazards are:
- Difficulty in breathing
- Skin and eye irritation
- Drowsiness
- Nausea
- Sensitisation

In addition to Golddigger's comments, see Article 516. Note, even some water based paints can have explosive properties in mist form. Flammability should be noted on the product.
