In a hew house, the painter sprayed the insides of recessed light cans. Is this ok ? Does it affect bulbs or heat build up, or warranty ? Thank you.
My biggest concern would be if the paint got inside the sockets. Recessed cans do generally come with cardboard paint shields that should have been in place to protect the cans.
I agree with nickelec. If standard lamps will be installed, then the paint will show and not look good. If LED trims are being installed, then the paint will not show and it doesn't matter.
