Does anyone have a information on this subject. My mined must be slipping, I thought is was a code violation to paint receptacle plates or receptacles, but I can't seem to find anything in the NEC or else were. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Painting receptacle plates would not be a violation, painting the recpetacles or any other device would only be an issue if it inhibits the use of the device or maybe if it comes in contact with the conductive parts.
