Panel buzzing

Aside from an obvious culpret like a bad breaker, what could be the cause of a "buzzing" noise coming from a breaker (main load) panel????

Could be the load of the circuit approaching the rating of the breaker.

Could be a good breaker that is badly mounted (i.e., loose bolts).

Could be someone inside trying to get someone to open the door to let them out.

You can't put a doorbell transformer or switch in the panel. Tell the people in the panel to knock loudly, not ring the bell.

Does this feed nonlinear load which could change freq. which may be the noise you are hearing
