TONYI,yes if gauged on rough in, yes the panel would be flush.This came about in a sub-division I took over last June.Panels back to back on a block wall 2 x 4 p.t. on sides of the panels.PT`s
noiminal dimension is 3 3/4 So when installed on the sides of a 4 in. panel there is 1/4 of drywall that extends beyond the face of the panel.Factor in corner bead,drywall mud = the senario I had.There was no time to do anything but rip the drywall of the face of the 2x4 and get the backcharges. :roll:
