Panel in a closet

I am working on a large residential remodel and where the panel was (laundry room) is becoming a closet in a home office.
Its on the first floor, I am concerned the inspector will consider this home office a bedroom (it gets a smoke detector)
110.26 30"W X 36"D X 78"H working clearance is met with the closet door open as the panel faces the closet door.
I am on the 2023 code here would this be a violation?
One option would be to omit the closet door as its a simple folding type door.

Having a panel behind a door with proper working clearance when the door is open is not only code-compliant, it is also a common design feature. However, if the "closet" will be for the storage of clothing, you can't have overcurrent devices in the closet.

TRUE.

But have seen many that the HO (post original install) had changed their mind and get the GC to add a closet rod for clothes and make it a bedroom. GC doesn't know or doesn't care about "the code". And then HO gets mad at the inspector for calling it out on the final. Also see it a lot on multifamily rental inspections.
