Can A 100 A Mlo Pnl Have A 100 A Sub-main ?

Or Does Anyone Have Any Access To Any Resources That May Help In Answering This Question (asap)

Sure-- as long as the load for both panels don't exceed 100 amps for both continuous and non continuous loads.
 
I agree with Dennis and Bob.

It's always seemed silly to me to spend that extra money when the load down stream may only be 30 amps or so, but it is done all the time.
 
The NEC effectively sizes overcurrent devices based on the downstream stuff (load and conductors) not what is upstream.

Your 100A main lug panel could be protected by a 15A breaker upstream and yet contain a 200A breaker as a sub-feed, as long as the toal load did not exceed 15A.
