The older romex had paper twisted up like another WIRE.
What the?
The older 3 wire romex had THREE of them wrapped up in the mix.
And , kind of on topic, why do they TWIST the 3 wire romex? I came across a brand several years ago that was NOT twisted so I KNOW they can do it. Seems like a waste of effort and wire.
