Parallel 400 amp feeder

Just curious for a 400 amp feeder running parallel (2)4/0 in 4” conduit can you put a box 3/4 of the way and Polaris tap changing to 600’s then continue run?

I dont see why not.

Only reason why I would see that you couldn't do that, is as a tap or transformer secondary conductor, since those need to terminate in equipment with an overcurrent device, and if you rearrange the paralleling, it would terminate in something other than an OCPD.

For feeders and branch circuits, I see no issue with rearranging the paralleling mid-way in the circuit, as long as you maintain the symmetry of the parallel paths.
