Is it legal to run a parallel conductors in one conduit?
I know it is not a good practice, but if the conduit is large enough and you meet the derating factors, is it legal?

I can't find it any where in the NEC, which prohibits this..

ex. 120/240 V
4" C with 4 hots(#3/0) 2 N(#3/0) + ground.

Thats because it is not prohibited by the NEC.

As you stated, as long as the conduit fill, deration of conductors ect... are all OK then you can run parallel conductors in the same raceway.

But I can find a place in the NEC where it explicitly says that it is allowed! Look at the last sentence in 310.15(B)(2)(a), just before the Fine Print Notes. :)
