After reading through things again, I take back what I said about it likely being service conductors, he did not make it all that clear if this is service or non service conductor. That said - calculating the load doesn't matter if service or not, but determining minimum size allowed in conditions of little load does depend on if service or not - yet if it is parallel conductors minimum size is still 1/0 per parallel conductor even if the applicable table says less.
