We had an employee ask for a raise (had not even been with us 2 months) and was late for work the day he asked.
The following days.....
1. no show/ no call
2. in late and asked if he could leave early
3. called in asking if he could come on later in the day, he was told to just not come in at all that day.

A great resource for open shop wages is PAS. Web site is www.pas1.com. It will get you in the ball park the rest is up to you. But if you have someone really really good, pay what ever you need to keep them because if you won't someone else will.:smile:
