Let me explain this a little more.
This location is in the middle of Manhattan, with the building surrounded by other tall buildings.
I have not been to the site, I only have info from the General foreman on the job. They are working nights, and I am going to have more info by Tuesday. I am trying to see if they will let me visit the site - actually this is occurring in three different buildings all within one block of each other.
I want to thank all of you who have responded, I will use all of the different posts to help try and solve this mystery
, then I will let you all know.
I have spent the last two weekends in NYC on other jobs, and there are many grounding issues. I mentioned to the GF to test for current on the raceway, as this installation is in an older building with two very large services.
