In the future state your problem in the title instead of your name. You will get more responses that way.

assuming one of us knows the answer :D
(someone will, it's a sharp bunch)

Is the noise a problem that just started or is this a new install with an initial problem ?
Can you describe the mounting ? (anchored to concrete, etc)

Is it new or existing that started making excessive noise?

I had one that was noisy one time but it was because of individual capacitor failures and I believe the imbalanced current in the inductor was the main reason for the noise. Never put that one back into service as the POCO was no longer charging PF penalties at that facility, but the caps were still connected and had some units fail.

I had one that was scary loud. 15kv. Went through it to make sure all was tight and current was balanced. Changed out the inductor and it was quiet.
