Photo Voltaic Systems as per 210.5(C)(1)

Would you consider Photo Voltaic System to fall under the identification requirements of 200.6(D), 210.5(C)(1), 215.12(C)?

For instance, there is a building supplied by a 208Y/120V service, and a 480Y/277 system via a transformer, supplying lighting and other equipment in the same building.
Two systems following the above Sections, in regards to identification.

The building owner decides to install a photo voltaic system for the building. Does the installer of the electrical portion of the PV have to follow the above identification requirements as the service and separately derived system?

Thanks!

On a interactive system, the inverter output will tie into one of your stated systems so identification would coincide with that system. On the PV systems DC side...identification and grouping is laid out in 690...2014 690.31(B)

As per my description above, would you say there are 3 different systems to be marked in 3 unique ways?
Yes, but there are only 2 AC systems.... assuming the PV System is interactive with either 208V or 480V systems. The AC side of the inverter(s) is just an extension of system it is connected to. The identification of circuit conductors on the DC side of the inverter(s) is as noted by shortcircuit2 [690.31(B)], making it the third.

If it is stand-alone PV system, then you'd have 4 systems to uniquely identify.

There are no article "210 Branch Circuits" or "Article 215 Feeders" on the DC side of a PV System. There are PV Source Circuits and Output Circuits, with identification requirements in 690.31(B) 2014 NEC

What Code cycle are you under? What issue are you concerned about?
