Pittsburgh electrical codes

I deliver appliances in the pittsburgh,youngstown,steubenville regions of the country. Am I allowed to hard wire a dishwasher for installation purposes, or do you need to be a licensed electrician?

We'll have to wait for a local electrican to answer, the requirements vary by state and by city. Where I am from we have "townships" and often the township will have its own licensing.

Pa does not have a requirement that a person needs a license, however the city of Pittsburgh does require a license as well as a permit. Ohio requires a state license issued by the Ohio construction industry examining board. And you would need to pull a permit to run a circuit for an appliance.

However someone else will have to answer if you need a permit to change an existing appliance
