I need to put a permanent place card for tenant and landlord meters and panels
Any suggestions the best practices

When I needed a sign for a generator inlet I went to a local sign shop. One time custom signs aren't cheap due to the setup. I think that I paid $30 for this one.

Laminated phenolic engraved plates are the way to go. I've used this company in the past :

J & J Engraving
45 Worth Street
S. Hackensack, NJ 07606

Ph - 201-342-0798

Fax - 201-342-4621

If you tell them exactly what you want (i.e yellow laminated pnenolic with black core like infinity's sign) or send them a sketch, they'll let you know how much it is including shipping. If you want to use screws to mount the sign let them know or you can get it with adhesive backing.

Yes. Commonly known as traffolyte here but that's a brand name. We used to do our own but that was taking a skilled guy off the shop floor where panel building made better use of his time. So we subbed them out to P&N printing and engraving. We provided drawings including where the holes should be and that provided consistency plus documentation that was included in the project file.

One of the good things about P&N is that their facility was just up the road from us - less than a 5-minute stroll. No mailing or carriage charge........:)
