Around here they can’t close up the walls until the in wall inspection has been done , if there’s two sides to a wall they can board one side before the in wall rough but not
In the scenario I mentioned there are no rough inspections. Typically the carpenter is waiting with a pile of sheetrock and for the stub ups to go in. Depending on the electrical layout they may rock one side of the wall before the sparky gets there.

They can board one side of the wall here before we start as well , but if we have something in a wall can’t close it until there’s been an in wall rough . The inspector wasn’t to see we comply with the requiremts of 358.30
