plastic sign ballast

May be in wrong forum, but here goes:

Troubleshooting an old "plastic sign" using F72T12CWHD tubes

Uses one ballast for 4 tubes (24 feet), only three tubes light

one ballast for 5 tubes (30 feet), only three tubes light

On some parts of sign a single tube will ignite (parallel)

On other parts, pairs of tubes must ignite togather (series)

Without diagram I'm lost as to relatioships between tubes.

Need diagram of wiring including the ANSI C82.1 color codes

Found one source (Advance) but their print too faint to read

Can anyone help or point me to a clear source for wiring, that on ballast is too faded to read and I'm told that this style ballast is being phased out.

They are being phased out, and I recycled over 400 of those exact ballast last year. I'll see if I have any laying around that are legible

Side note, Lowes has those on clearance right now, 34.00 ballast for 4.99
The Gov't outlawed them last year
