I have been doing wiring and home improvement over the years and always check code and contract out when over my head. I have to confess my confusion on this issue. I am running a 240 gfci line for an above ground pool pump. Can someone simply state what the wiring needs are? insulated ground? nmb, uf? 10/3,12/3 minimum? I have run sch 40 from house to sub box, and plan to run sch40 from box to pump location and hardwire to pump with switch at pump.

Any clarification would be helpful

Thank you.
