pool area?? help

In a big indoor pool area,in the ceiling, can you run exposed raceway in EMT? Or should it be rigid? i'm having trouble finding it in the code book and I need to know. If you know the code reference that would help too. Thankyou.

How high above the pool is the ceiling?

chemically treated paint that covers all the steel. and the ceiling is maybe 15 to 20 feet above water level

Based on the height of the ceiling, you will not run into any Art 680 code issues that would not permit what you propose to install.

I am not sure what the "chemical" treated paint is, but the issue with EMT in an indoor pool location may be corrosion/deterioration of the EMT and boxes. Why not use a PVC type of installation?

I second Pierres suggestion of PVC, EMT could start deteriorating pretty quick in that enviroment in my opinion.
