I just want to make sure I’m understanding the rules as they pertain to outside feeders for sub panels in this case for pool equipment.
Location 1. If the subpanel is located in a shed it can have no more than 6 breakers to shutoff all power in the shed. There would also have to be two grounds rods driven as it is a separate structure.
Location 2. if the subpanel is mounted to the outside of the house is there a max number of breakers? I wouldn’t need ground rods, correct? I’m guessing because it’s not a separate structure.
