I hAve a newly installed pool with a low voltage led no nece light the pool crew just left the wire there do I have to use PVC as a sleve into a Deck box , evreypool I have ever done the pool guys usually run the PVC before I get there . I can't see just running that wire bare through concrete and pavers etc

You need to use conduit. Most likely PVC because all that I've ever done glued right on to the tail of the light housing. Mine required 1-1/2" extended out about a foot then reduced to 3/4" or 1".
 
So I have to get in there and see wat size will fit on had a heavrain here to day so it was under water hopefully tomorrow it will clear up

I don't know what light you have but the ones I mentioned you have to be careful to not forget to extend the 1-1/2". If you don't, the tail of the light will hit where you reduce it down. I learned that the hard way. That's if the pool has thin walls such as metal or fiberglass. The concrete pools have thicker walls and you can reduce it down right away.
