On a storable pool, is the following installation code compliant? Pvc and wiring from the house buried at 12", circuit is protected by a GFCI breaker at the house. Conduit is 1", with 12-2 UF inside. Outlet located at least 10' from the pool. Outlet is standard receptacle, not twistlock. Pool pump is plugged into this outlet with weatherproof in use cover. A co-worker of mine did this at his house and the inspector shot him down for not having a twistlock and said depth must be 18". The pool is above ground with max 42" of water. I have not dealt with many of these above ground pools, any info is appreciated. Thanks, Paul

680.10 Minimum Burial Depths Nonmetallic raceways listed for direct burial without concrete encasement is 18 "

If it's a storable pool no twist lock is required.

Off the top of my head (which, admittedly, is in need of a shave) I'd say this would be compliant for even a permanently installed pool, unless I'm mistaken. :)
